ABOUT CHEY
The name Chey comes from the Falkland Islands, where Jonny spent a year working as a journalist. “Chey” means “mate”, a word usually said with a smile. And that's the spirit behind Chey Productions – telling human stories with a smile.
As a television producer and self-shooter, Jonny has spent his career travelling the world telling stories. From filming for months in a Yukon gold mine, to visiting UNICEF projects in rural Guatemala or road tripping across Zimbabwe. His work spans documentaries, factual entertainment and branded content for major UK and international broadcasters, including the BBC, ITV, Discovery and Amazon Prime.
Now, through Chey Productions, he's developing original documentaries and digital-first films that seek to explore and inspire adventure, connection and community.
